I have started to put here some of my favourite books that I have read recently. I want to do this because I forget about them yet some were true gems that I want to remember. I do not bother to put here
books that I did not like because they are not worth mentioning but also because I often do not finish reading them. Here are the ones that moved me and/or thrilled me, in alphabetical order by titles...

A disappointment after Footprints of God. An FBI agent gets suspicious about her sister's death and investigates. She finds that many others have died of "strange natural causes" and they are all linked to one lawyer. Could the spouses of the victims have ordered them eliminated to avoid an expensive divorce ? Plausible story that falls short. |

A story about the freedom of youth and dreams, and coming to terms with the past. The novel relies on flashbacks as well as the present to develop its characters. 3/4 of the book is interesting but for much too long in the end, it loses its grip and wanders off with little interest. |

But then a journalist starts to put 2 and 2 together and it all unravels, and a race to kill all who know follows till the very end. |

I have now read every single book from this master storyteller who once again, delivers a thousand fold. An epic story set in England of the 1300s when the black plague hit, how it affected the lives of a small village, Kingsbridge, and its people over a lifetime. Unforgettable characters, rich historical background and of course, a great drama. |
